Festival Director
Małgotarzata Frymus
Journalist, columnist, and film director. A graduate of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the National Film School in Łódź. She works for Polish Radio Szczecin and collaborates with TVP, while also lecturing at the University of Szczecin. Co-organizer of the OFFilm and Stary Cyfrowy Szczecin projects. Since 2023, she has been the president of the OFFicyna Association and a key force behind many of its projects (including the Szczecin Film Festival). Director of documentary films such as Historie z celuloidu, Wielka Zielona Ściana – Afryka Afryce, The Afforestation, and Jestem z Doumga. In 2019, she was awarded the title of “Journalist of the Year” in West Pomerania. She has long-standing ties with the Zachęta Contemporary Art Association and the Ińsko Summer Film Festival Association.
Organizational Curator
Ewa Barbara Kaptur
PhD student in literary studies at the University of Szczecin (USz). She holds a postgraduate degree in film studies from the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. A psychologist specializing in clinical psychology (SWPS University in Poznań), she also participated in the European Program in Management Psychology and Entrepreneurship. She graduated in Polish philology (USz) with teaching qualifications and in philosophy (USz). She was a Socrates Erasmus scholarship holder in literature at the Università degli Studi di Genova in Italy. Since 2018, she has been affiliated with the OFFicyna Association, where she conceived and co-authored cultural rehabilitation projects such as Pracownie Filmowe: Scenariusz na Życie and Puk, puk! Jesteśmy tu. She has worked, among others, as an editor for the Scientific Publications of the National Museum in Szczecin and the University of Szczecin. In her pedagogical and therapeutic work, she uses methods such as film therapy and fairy tale therapy. Program coordinator of the Szczecin Film Festival since 2019.


Competition Curator
Tomasz Jarmołowicz
A specialist in digital processing of audiovisual material and film recompression, as well as mastering and captioning, including the acquisition of necessary licenses and rights. He collaborates with key distributors, producers, filmmakers, and institutions. Coordinator of the European Competition and West Pomeranian Shorts at the Szczecin Film Festival, and a project implementer at the OFFicyna Association. A linguist and film enthusiast.
Curators
Yuliia Musatenko
Graduate of the National University of Technologies and Design in Kyiv. After her studies, she worked at the Korsun-Shevchenkivsky Textile Factory in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi. For several years, she managed the secretariat of the Ukrainian Consul in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Since 2018, she has been living and working in Poland. Since 2019, she has been associated with Polish Radio Szczecin, where she prepares, edits, and reads news in Ukrainian for the “Posydeńki” program. Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, she has been the voice of daily Ukrainian-language news and a translator of information into Polish for Polish Radio Szczecin. She also collaborates with the Szczecin branch of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland. Her experience includes translation work for the International Festival of Great Creators in Lviv and the documentary film Cena wyzwolenia (2022), directed by Paweł Domański.


Łukasz Nyks
Cameraman, editor, and founder/owner of Nyxmedia.pl (established in 2012). For over a dozen years, he has collaborated with advertising agencies, Telewizja Polska, TVN Discovery, Radio Szczecin, Radio Zet, as well as artists and filmmakers from Poland and abroad. In addition to his documentary and commercial work, he also produces multi-camera live broadcasts and leads film workshops. He works with the Polish Foundation for Addiction Prevention and is a co-founder of WorldPeaceLab Poland. His current collaborators include the Castle Opera in Szczecin, the Szczecin City Hall, the Szczecin Film Festival / OFFicyna Association, the Youth Educational Center in Trzebież, the Skolwin Cultural Center, and the Coeur Vert Foundation (Luxembourg / Ivory Coast). For many years, he has worked closely with director Małgorzata Frymus, with whom he has created numerous documentary films shot in Senegal, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, and Poland—screened around the world. Their film Wielka Zielona Ściana Afryka–Afryce received the ANGEL FILM AWARD at the international film festival in Monaco in 2015. The film Father0 (dir. Konrad Pachciarek), for which he was the cinematographer, won the main award at the Rügen Festival in Germany. In 2018, he produced a film for the 100th anniversary of the National Labour Inspectorate, which premiered in the Polish Parliament in 2019. His most recent film projects include Jestem z Doumga (Poland/Senegal, 2019), Uchadi (2021), and Podróż dookoła siebie (2023).
Rafał Podraza
Journalist, bit-part actor, film and television screenwriter, playwright, author of numerous radio plays and 25 books, biographer, and cultural animator. Widely regarded as one of the leading experts on the Kossak family. Author of books on Magdalena Samozwaniec, Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, and Wojciech Kossak. Creator of nationally and internationally recognized music competitions. Winner of numerous awards, including two Gold Records from the Polish record company Polskie Nagrania. Recipient of the honorary badge "Merit for Polish Culture," the “Złota Kaczka” Journalists’ Award from SDRP West Pomerania, the Special Award from the Krzysztof Dzikowski Foundation, the “Crystal Butterfly” from the Irena Jarocka Foundation, the “Crystal Pen,” the ZAKR Authors and Composers Association Award, the Polish Radio Szczecin Award, and the Golden Ex Libris from the Pomeranian Library. He has collaborated with some of the greatest stars of Polish cinema, including Magdalena Zawadzka, Krystyna Tkacz, Paulina Holtz, Joanna Żółkowska, Dorota Segda, and Anna Januszewska.


Daniel Źródlewski
Cultural studies expert, cultural animator and manager, presenter, and PR specialist. Theatre and film critic. Freelance journalist and long-time contributor to Magazyn Szczeciński Prestiż. Press officer for the National Museum in Szczecin. Co-organizer of numerous cultural events, including: in Szczecin – the Kontrapunkt Review of Small Form Theatres, Szpak, Adlojada, and the Westival of Architecture; in Świnoujście – the Grechuta Festival, Markowy Festiwal, Wakacyjne Miasto Kobiet, and Fama. Collaborator with many cultural and art institutions across Poland. Founder and director of the independent Szczecin-based Teatr Karton. Chairman of the jury for the “Bursztynowy Pierścień” Theatre Award. An expert on the history and culture of Pomerania – Western Pomerania.
Tyberiusz Frymus
By education, an IT engineer. Professionally involved in telecommunication and IT systems, websites, social media, and network service management. He has been connected with OFFicyna for many years, supporting the organization in the areas of social media, web services, and website management. A passionate musician—he composes, sings, and plays instruments.


Sara Nowak
Student at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, majoring in Artistic Education in the Field of Music, with a specialization in Jazz and Popular Vocal Performance. She composes music and plays the piano. Her passion for jazz singing and piano playing goes hand in hand with an interest in mathematics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the West Pomeranian University of Technology, specializing in economic analysis, and was an Erasmus scholarship recipient at the University of Malta. A graduate of a first-degree music school in piano. At the OFFicyna Association, she coordinates volunteer activities for children and youth.
